Team of Confluence Adventurers Depend On Clark Hammocks In Fiji
Confluence is less a hobby for some than an obsession, and a team focused on one of the world's trickiest confluence points (where lines of latitude meet lines of longitude) in Fiji has depended on a fleet of Clark Jungle Hammocks to reach their destination.
The Degree Confluence Project has a simple goal: photograph every confluence point on the globe, armed with desire, GPS, and in this case, a Clark Jungle Hammock.

"The (Clark) Hammocks did a great job giving us shelter in the middle of nowhere," said Karsten Aalders, who made the trip only months ago in search of the confluence point. The photo (above left) was taken near that point at precisely S018°00'10.2",E178°03'00.4".
Aalders notes that prior trips in Fiji had proven difficult. "We did some cross country hiking many times before there, and had a extremely hard time in finding a place to put up any tents, so we were very pleased to find a solution with the Clark Jungle Hammock."
