The Clark Tropical was created for backpackers who are heading into warm and humid conditions. The head-end of the Tropical is netted, allowing for greater air circulation. However, should the weather take a turn for the worse, the Tropical includes a nylon hood which can be raised over the head of the hammock.

You may upgrade your Clark Tropical to include a WeatherShield. The WeatherShield completely encloses the hammock to create a true tent, adding privacy and extra protection from moisture and cold.

The Tropical comes with our finest, most protective rain fly, capable of keeping you bone-dry in any environment. Further, the Tropical features four pockets underneath for storing boots and gear. There are also two pockets inside, handy for storing anything from a flashlight to a pistol. The pockets are spread apart to allow the fabric to breathe and keep you cool. The rain fly is removable and the netting folds into the foot of the hammock when you want nothing in between you and the stars. The Tropical's ropes are our strongest polypropylene (1710 lb. test).
